Emily, I'm not sure what section of the trail we're going to be working on, it may be a mile or so up the trail. Since Friends of the Peak are organizing this work day, they would prefer you visit their site at fotp.com to register and get more information. You will want to bring gloves, sunscreen, a hat, plenty of water, wear long pants and sturdy shoes (yes, I know it's very warm but this is for safety purposes). Also, we may be finished up by about 1 or so. I don't have a lot of details yet so please visit fotp.com for more info on how to contact them with any questions you might have. Emily, I just spoke with Friends of the Peak and we would welcome any time you can spare for this project. We will be approximately 20-25 minutes up the trail from the parking lot. We should be easy to spot, lots of tools. Thanks!
